Los Angeles Helicopters is proud to offer the services of our professional aerial photographer, Paul DeMers.  Paul has been in business for more than 30 years, providing the highest resolution professional photographic services, for both film and digital-based assignments.  He uses the commercial-quality, medium-format, Hasselblad H1 and Noblex Panoramic camera platforms. His incredible pictures have been recorded with both Fuji High-definition, Medium-format film and the superior Phase One, P25, 22 million pixel Digital Back (attached to the Hasselblad H1 camera platform). 

Paul has experience shooting for many prestigious law firms, City, State and Federal Government agencies, international corporations, sporting organizations, construction companies, ad agencies, real estate concerns, boat builders, oil companies, public relations firms, private investigators and a lot of people in love.

Los Angeles Helicopters offers Romantic Engagement and Exclusive Bridal Delivery services anywhere from Santa Barbara to Palm Springs and San Diego.  Imagine asking your best friend to marry you while you both watch the sun set from 500 feet over Santa Monica.  Then, we can take you to a secluded club or fantastic restaurant for an evening of romance to remember for ever.  All of this can be professionally photographed by our aerial photographer.

Paul is available, on-call, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

We charge a flat rate of $100.00 per hour, plus photographic materials, with a 1-hour minimum and then billed per quarter-hour.  Your billable time will include any required Pilot Pre-flight Preparations as well as helicopter engine warm-up and cool-down times. 

Your photographic materials charges will be based on a flat rate of $1.85 per shot taken.  You will own all of the copyrights to all of your images.

If film is used, it will be processed and scanned to 6mb, 300dpi, TIFF files before being photographically proof-printed to 1 set of 4"x5" Crystal Archive prints.  You will receive all of your original film, prints and 1 set of jewel-cased Archival Gold Photo CD's.

If your assignment is shot digitally, you will receive all of the original, serial-numbered, 25mb RAW files, which will be converted to 8 or 16 bit, 72 to 600dpi, JPEG or TIFF files, from 1 to 300mb each, depending on your assignment, plus 1 set of jewel-cased Archival Gold Photo CD's.

For instance, if Paul works for an hour and 15 minutes, shooting 65 pictures, it will cost $115.00 plus tax, for the time and $120.25, plus tax, for the materials.  You will own all of your original film and digital files.  You can pre-determine your time and materials fees to exactly match your approved budget.
