Wings Wheels Rotors and Expo picks LAH

The Los Alamitos Chamber of Commerce combined with the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) and PHPA have selected Los Angeles Helicopters (LAH) to provide exciting informative tours and demo rides during the the Wings, Wheels, Rotors and Expo October 24th, 2004.

LAH will be providing tours in its charter aircraft, and will be offering first time demonstration rides to the public in its training aircraft. LAH will deliver the tours to the public and while highlighting the colorful and historical past of the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Base.

The Expo provides a rare opportunity to the public to explore up close the West Coasts' largest display of helicopters which will include law enforcement, fire safety, emergency response, military and news / media aircraft.

Car enthusiasts are thrilled to view hundreds of pristine classic cars and chat with their owners. Each year the number of car clubs has expanded. This year we are expecting 300 or more cars, each car displaying the superior craftsmanship and devotion to a classic era. People's Choice Award will be presented for the favorite vintage or classic car so get ready to support your favorite!

Displays are open to the public from 9:00am to 4:00 pm on the 24th of October.

Proceeds from this event help support the military Morale Welfare Recreation (MWR) fund on the Base. Admission and parking for the day long event is free. All adults entering the JFTB requires photo ID. END
