Things to DoEven the most dedicated student will not be flying or studying every hour of the week. Southern California is a world unto itself and our past students have enjoyed the recreational activities and sightseeing available around town. The best advice that we can provide is that personal transportation is important to have if you are looking to enjoy Los Angeles on your off hours. The public transportation system in Los Angeles is not the most convenient, but Long Beach does have a surface train system that connects to the downtown Los Angeles area. Nonetheless, most of our students rent cars to get around town when they need to. Los Angeles Helicopters students have visited locations such as Malibu Beach, Disneyland, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Knotts Berry Farm, Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, The Queen Mary, Sea World, and the Getty Center. There is always something to do in Los Angeles, you'll just need a car to get there. The Los Angeles Helicopters staff is more than happy to help point out the local ‘hot-spots’ for you to visit and will make sure that you enjoy the time you spend in Los Angeles with us. |
